Characteristics

Can reach up to 8m height when allowed to grow wild in the ground. Creates a dense 4m screen when kept in pots.

Culm diameter usually 2-3cm, yellowing with age. Cold tolerant.

The favourite food our our mascot Phinju, the red panda! (He also likes sweet potato) Resident of Zambi Wildlife Retreat.
