Ghost Bamboo
An elegant tropical ornamental bamboo from China. Hardy. Can be pruned but is best left to grow to its natural full potential.
An absolute stunner.
Characteristics
Grows to 10 metres tall. A mature clump gets to 1.5m footprint at ground level. New culms covered in a white bloom. In the second year pale green stripes run up the culm. Not much foliage for the first 2 metres when mature. A fast growing bamboo. Depending on your conditions, takes 3 years to reach full height. Salt tolerant.
