Multiplex bamboos are native to China. They are introduced all over the world. There are several varieties. All over the tropics the culms are often used as fishing rods. A very popular hedge plant.
Characteristics
Gold Stripe typically gets to 4m. Has a small foot print so is a great hedge plant for small garden beds or pots. Displays a gold strip on lower part of culms that become more pronounced with age.
