It's native to the Guangdong, Guangxi, and Hainan regions of China, and also found in Vietnam. Will be happy indoors and in deep shade.

Characteristics

A small, upright bamboo for pots.

Typically grows 2-4 meters tall with culms about 1cm in diameter, with a glaucous (waxy, bluish-green) appearance below the nodes.

Large, dark green leaves.

Densely foliaged.
